Backup Service
BackSync Backup compresses, encrypts and transfers your files to Mimic Data servers by default. Certain information will be available to Mimic Data such as type of operating system, backup sizes, transfer speed and status reports to enable Mimic Data to provide the service or help support you.

Service Providers
Mimic Data does not disclose personal information to service providers, except to process credit card transactions. The data used to process credit card transactions adheres to a strict privacy policy supported by TrustE.
Mimic Data may use third party service providers (e.g. hosting providers) as necessary to provide you the service. We may share certain aggregated non-personal information (such as total volume of data Mimic Data stores) with third parties.

By default Mimic Data BackSync Backup automatically encrypt your data before transmission and send the encrypted data using industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. Your data is stored in a secure location with access controls for authorized employees only.
Your Username, Password or encryption keys should never be shared with anyone unless you intend to do collaborative work with others who need read/write access to your files. When we receive certain types of sensitive information such as financial information, we redirect visitors to the secure portion of our site using industry standard SSL. This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. The user data is password protected.
Mimic Data may use cookies for user session tracking. The cookies are used solely for identifying user sessions and do not store any personal information regarding the user.
Communication
From time to time, Mimic Data will communicate with you via email to inform you of service-related information such as confirmation of a password change, expiration of a credit card, notification of a service issue, or availability of a new product or feature from Mimic Data.
